Lower mortality risk from short bursts of daily movement
Feel great in just 10 minutes.
JUST10 is a 24/7 live micro-wellness product. This is the design system — colours, type, components, layout, and voice — that keeps every page, post, and pixel feeling like an exhale after a held breath. Calm but not sleepy, simple but not vague, human but grounded in science.

Six colours, two modes, one rule: never recreate.
Always use the supplied SVG assets. Never distort, stretch, rotate, recolour, or type-set a JUST10 logo. Default placement is top-left, 32px height on mobile, 40px on desktop, with minimum 2× logo height of clear space on all sides.
Off-white canvases, six soft activity zones, glass on gradient mesh.
JUST10 is a live 24/7 micro-wellness product that should feel like an exhale. Off-white canvases (#f5f7fa cool, #faf9f7 warm) form the foundation. Six soft activity colours each own their own zone — Meditate cyan anchors the master brand; Move peach, Breathe pink, Journal lavender, Sleep indigo, and Nutrition sage rotate in as category signals. Zones never mix within a single block.
Glass surfaces (translucent white + 18px blur) float over subtle radial gradient meshes. Shadows are soft and low-contrast — light on water, never weight on ground. Generous radii (1.2rem–2.8rem) keep every shape rounded, soft, unhurried. The signature: mixed-weight Montserrat headlines where a single highlighted word in cyan at weight 700 gives emotional punctuation — see the .highlight utility.
Tokens, roles, and where each colour earns its keep.
Every colour is a CSS variable. Activity colours use the exact Main, Light, and Muted values from the JUST10 brand-colours PDF: Main for the "10" in the logo and key UI colour, Light for dark backgrounds and hovers, and Muted for the tick marks in the logo. The accent gold is reserved for premium tiers and the Naomie Harris OBE accolade. The live red is reserved for the pulsing dot and "now on Zoom" cues — never alerts or errors.

Six pillars. Six colour zones. Never mixed inside a single block.
Each pillar gets Main, Light, and Muted brand colours. Gradients run Main → Light; logo ticks use Muted; tints use Main at low opacity. Cards, sections, badges, and CTAs match the zone of the page they live on. Logo colour follows the zone too.

Montserrat for display. Plus Jakarta Sans for everything else.
Mixed colour is the editorial signature — a 700 ink-dark anchor with one 700 cyan word for emotional punctuation, applied via the .highlight utility. Never set Montserrat below 1.6rem. 800 weight is reserved for the single largest hero on a page.

Blog grid + category filter

Why your nervous system won't recover this weekend
Two days off doesn't undo five days of fight-or-flight. A small daily reset works better than a once-a-week reset. Here's why.
The 10-minute reset for Sunday-scaries
A guided wind-down for the hour before Monday lands. No goal-setting, no Sunday-night planning, no toxic positivity.
A gentler way back into morning movement
Forget hot yoga and crushing your goals. Ten minutes of mindful movement is enough to soften a stiff start.
Gratitude isn't a chore. It's a pause.
Why journaling works better as a permission than a prompt. Three sentences is plenty.
What 40,000 stressed-out people taught us
The pattern that keeps showing up across 25 years of recovery research, and what it means for daily practice.
Why we don't believe in streaks
Streaks turn practice into performance. Permission turns it into a habit. A short note on why JUST10 will never count days.
Blog single page
Centred reading column at 76.8rem max width, 21:9 hero image, category badge above title, italic-accent headline, meta line, lede paragraph, body, gold-accent pull quote, and an author block at the foot of the article.
Why your nervous system won't recover this weekend.
Two days off doesn't undo five days of fight-or-flight. The body keeps score, and the score builds quietly through the week. By Friday, "recover at the weekend" stops working as a strategy — it becomes wishful thinking.
Most people I work with arrive carrying months, sometimes years, of unprocessed stress. They've tried the long retreats, the meditation apps, the wellness sabbaticals. What helps isn't more rest, it's more frequent rest. A small reset, daily, in the middle of the day. Not on a Saturday morning when the inbox has already won.
Ten minutes, daily, beats two days, weekly. Every time.
This is what 25 years of working with 40,000 people in recovery taught me. The shape of relief is small, regular, and unhurried. It is also, deliberately, ungamified — because as soon as you start counting it, the relief stops working.
Start where you are. Pick a time that's already a transition: the kettle boiling, the school run finished, the moment before lunch. Ten minutes. Anything. Breath, walk, journal, or simply sit. Today's enough.

Team cards
Centred profile cards with circular photo, name, role in primary cyan eyebrow, short bio, and optional social icons. Use for "About", "Team", and contributor sections. Default grid is 4-up on desktop, 2-up on tablet, 1-up on mobile.

Ashok Gupta
25 years of research into neuroplasticity-based recovery. Has helped over 40,000 people through The Gupta Program. Writes the science behind every JUST10 reset.

Tara Lee
Leads the Earth, Water, and Fire yoga sequences plus Vinyasa flow. Slow, element-led practice that helps you feel grounded, fluid, or fired up — whatever the day calls for.

Caroline Pearce
Heads the cardio and sculpt sessions: Total Body Blitz, core, arms, balance and burn. Athletic, focused, and built for ten minutes that actually shifts something.

Feye Jegede
Brings the Bootylicious and Booty Sculpt sessions: dance and pilates-inspired cardio that lifts your mood as much as your heart rate. The fun corner of Move.
Photography that breathes — soft light, real moments, never stock-y.
JUST10 imagery should feel like the rest of the brand: calm, warm, human. Look for soft natural light, generous negative space, real-world textures (linen, wood, breath, daylight). Avoid clinical white-box stock, performative wellness poses, or anything that screams "lifestyle". Photos placed below are sourced from Unsplash as on-brand placeholders — to be replaced with bespoke photography or licensed library shots before launch.
Feature image · zone overlay
Use a single, atmospheric photo behind a dark gradient veil for editorial sections. Always pair with one short title and a one-line description. The dark veil uses #192e52 at 0–65% opacity so light text stays legible.
Ten quiet minutes is already enough.
No streaks. No scoring. Just a regular pause that brings the day back into focus.
Image cards by zone
Image cards pair a 4:3 photo with a small zone badge and a title. Use these for category landings, content collections, and editorial round-ups. The badge always sits top-left at --space-s from the edge.

Easy nourishment
Ten-minute habits that feel like care, not control.
Travel-magazine spacing. One core idea per viewport.
Breathing room is the brand. Every section auto-applies --section-gap (currently --space-2xl) which scales from 31px on mobile to 79px on desktop. Visitors are already overwhelmed — the page should be relief, not another source of pressure.

The non-negotiables.
These are brand policy, not taste. Especially the anti-optimisation rules — the audience is fleeing that culture. Reproducing it breaks the brand promise.
Do
- Use --text-body (var(--base-d-4)) warm near-black for text — never pure black
- Use Montserrat for display, Plus Jakarta Sans for every UI string
- Highlight a single word per headline using .highlight (cyan, 700) — never use thin italic for emphasis
- Use the section tag — --section-gap auto-applies (no manual padding)
- Pair pain with relief in the same block
- Use generous radii: 1.2rem buttons, 2rem cards, pill for badges
- Reserve live red for the pulsing dot and "now on Zoom" only
- Reserve gold for premium tier + Naomie Harris OBE accolade
- Lead CTAs with invitation: "Join the next live", "Start here"
- Match logo colour to category page: Blue/Meditate, Orange/Move, Pink/Breathe, Purple/Journal, Indigo/Sleep, Green/Nutrition
- Respect prefers-reduced-motion on the live dot
- Run the five-second read test on every H1 and hero lede
Don't
- No pure black or pure white as backgrounds — always the off-whites
- No streaks, points, XP, badges, leaderboards, gamified progress bars (brand policy)
- No ALL CAPS on headings except the Eyebrow utility
- No em dashes as parenthetical separators in body copy
- No banned words: optimise friction enhance maximise unlock biohack amygdala polyvagal neuroplasticity
- No urgency CTAs: no "Don't miss out", "Claim", "Act now", "Limited time"
- No hustle phrasing: "level up", "crush your goals", "transform your life"
- No mixing activity colours within a single card or section
- No thin font weights for headings — Montserrat 500 minimum
- No shadows heavier than var(--black-t-1) primary
- No distorting, rotating, recolouring, or recreating the logo
- No influencer-wellness aesthetics: no neon, no aggressive gradients
- No stacking multiple primary CTAs in a single block
Even when the topic is stress, the design must feel calm.
The viewer should leave the viewport slightly calmer than they entered it. Layout, colour, motion, and typography all serve this rule. If a page activates the viewer, it has failed regardless of copy quality.
Voice principles
- Make people feel better (fast)
- Keep things simple
- Understand and meet you there
- Encourage with confidence
- Sound like a friend
- Make science felt (not understood)
- Create momentum without pressure
- Warmth with credibility
Manifesto lines
- We believe in showing up, not burning out
- We believe 10 minutes can change everything
- Progress feels better than perfection
- Connection heals what isolation breaks
CTA patterns
- Join the next live
- Start here
- Come as you are
- Take 10 today
- Small resets matter
- That's enough for today
